Abstract: Two flexible electrode includes a conductive tape electrode and a brass wire electrode have been designed and developed for simultaneous measurement of resistance and viscoelastic responses of conductive polymer composites. Additionally, an electrical measurement-based method has been proposed for evaluating the curing processes of pressure sensitive conductive tapes. The Results indicate that, during some aging processes such as heating-cooling cycles or annealing at a temperature above the melting point of polymer matrix, the self-affixing effect of the conductive tape has provided a reliable contact between the electrodes and the sample surfaces by improving the bonding strength. Under these aging processes, the brass wire electrodes are proved to be suitable for simultaneous measurement of resistance and viscoelastic responses.
