燃烧裂解-离子色谱法测定工业废水中的可吸附有机卤素

摘要:

可吸附有机卤素(AOX)是用来表征水体有机卤化物污染程度的有效指标。有机卤化物的广泛应用还会增加工业废水中AOX的残留水平,而有机卤化物往往具有高的毒性,因此需要重视工业废水中AOX的污染水平。AOX包括可吸附有机氯(AOCl)、可吸附有机溴(AOBr)和可吸附有机碘(AOI)。该研究建立燃烧裂解-离子色谱法测定工业废水中AOCl、AOBr和AOI的分析方法,考察不同因素对AOX测定的影响,并应用于实际工业废水样品AOX的测定。Cl-、Br-和I-的标准曲线相关系数均在0.999以上,3种离子的检出限分别为2.0 μg/L、1.2 μg/L和6.1 μg/L,AOCl(以Cl计)、AOBr(以Br计)和AOI(以I计)的加标回收率范围在71.1%~110%,相对标准偏差低于10%。水样前处理固相萃取小柱活性炭用量为50 mg时AOX的回收率在90%以上,水样pH值小于2对AOX测定没有影响;金属离子种类和浓度均对AOX测定无显著影响。3个实际工业废水样中AOCl(以Cl计)、AOBr(以Br计)和AOI(以I计)的浓度范围分别为113~780 μg/L、10.5~68.8 μg/L和6.3~12.1 μg/L。


Determination of adsorbable organic halogens in industrial wastewater by combustion-ion chromatography

Abstract: Adsorbable organic halogen (AOX) is used as an effective indicator for the levels of halogenated organic matters in water. The widespread use of halogenated chemicals has increased the levels of residual AOX in industrial wastewater. Generally, organic halides show high toxicity, thus deserving more attention. AOX includes adsorbable organic chlorine (AOCl), adsorbable organic bromine AOBr) and adsorbable organic iodine (AOI). In this study, an analytical method was developed for the determination of AOCl, AOBr and AOI in industrial wastewater using combustion-ion chromatography, and the effects of different factors on the determination of AOX were also evaluated. The results showed that the correlation coefficients of standard curves of Cl-, Br- and I- were all above 0.999. The detection limits of the three ions were 2.0 μg/L, 1.2 μg/L and 6.1 μg/L, respectively, the recoveries of AOCl (calculated as Cl), AOBr (calculated as Br) and AOI (calculated as I) were in the range of 71.1%-110%, and the relative standard deviations (RSD) were <10%. During the pretreatment of water samples, the optimal extraction conditions for the recovery of AOX were that solid phase extraction cartridge with activated carbon of 50 mg was used and pH was in the range of 0-2. The metal ions had no significant effect on the determination of AOX. The concentrations of AOCl, AOBr and AOI in three chemical industrial wastewater samples were in the range of 113-780 μg/L, 10.5-68.8 μg/L and 6.3-12.1 μg/L, respectively.
