覆膜砂表面有机物成分的表征与分析研究

摘要:

覆膜砂是常用于铸件的模具材料,其质量尤其是表面有机物对钢、铁及铝合金等铸件表面光洁、尺寸精度有重要的影响。因此,测量和分析表面有机物种类及其含量对其开发和下游应用有一定的指导意义。利用有机物在化学和物理性质上的差异,采用不同的化学和物理分离方法逐一将其分离开,使用化学和大型精密分析仪器对一种覆膜砂表面有机物进行测试、鉴定,确定其表面有机物的主要成分。通过超景深显微镜、热裂解气相色谱-质谱联用仪(PY/GCMS)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FT-IR)、热重分析仪(TGA)、马弗炉等仪器对该覆膜砂的表面有机物逐步进行了成分分析。通过对测试结果的综合分析,确定该覆膜砂表面有机物的主要成分有酚醛树脂粘合剂、六亚甲基四胺固化剂,此外还含有硅油、邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)。其中酚醛树脂含量大约为3.65%,固化剂六亚甲基四胺含量约为0.65%,油类物质含量约为0.21%。该方法可为同类表面有机物的成分分析提供一种新的思路。


Study on characterization and analysis of surface organic components on coated sands

Abstract: Coated sands are kinds of die materials commonly used in castings. Their quality, especially the surface organic matter, has an important influence on the surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy of steel, iron and aluminum alloy castings. Therefore, accurate characterization and analysis of surface organic species and their contents have certain guiding significance for their development and downstream application. In this paper, firstly, the separation operation of the organic matter on the surface of a coated sand had been taken by chemical and physical separation method, following the difference of chemical and physical properties of organic matter used. Then, the organic matters were subjected to analysis through the ways of ultra-depth-of-field microscopy, pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (PY/GCMS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and muffle furnace. The components of the surface organic matter of the coated sand were analyzed according to certain steps. It was found from the analysis of the test results that the main surface organic compounds of the coated sand were phenolic resin binder, hexamethylenetetramine curing agent and silicone oil, dioctyl phthalate (DOP). Among them, phenolic resin content is about 3.65%, curing agent hexamethylenetetramine content is about 0.65%, oil content is about 0.21%. This study provides a new way of analyzing the similar surface organic compounds.
