摘要:

网络实时游戏已成为一种新的娱乐热点。该文以网络版的气球爆破游戏为例,对影响实时游戏体验质量(QoE)的主观和客观因素进行分析。通过实验测试,获取游戏玩家争夺爆破气球的数量、游戏触觉接口设备的可操作性以及游戏玩家的公平性等数据,并进行体验质量评估。结果表明:游戏的可操作性主要取决于网络从本地终端到另一终端的时延,公平性主要取决于玩家本地终端网络时延的差异。可操作性与公平性之间存在权衡关系,公平性对游戏综合质量的贡献大于可操作性。调整本地终端的输出时序,可以提升游戏的公平性,提高游戏的综合体验质量。


Influence of network delay on QoE for real-time games

Abstract: Online real-time games have become a new entertainment hotspot. This paper takes the online version of the balloon blasting game as an example to study the subjective and objective factors that affect the quality of experience (QoE) of real-time games. Through experimental tests, data such as the number of blasting balloons that the game player competes for, the operability of the game's tactile interface device, and the fairness of the game player are obtained, and the experience quality is evaluated. The results show that the operability of the game mainly depends on the delay of the network from the local terminal to another terminal, and the fairness mainly depends on the difference in the network delay of the player’s local terminal. There is a trade-off relationship between operability and fairness, and fairness contributes more to the overall quality of the game than operability. Adjusting the output timing of the local terminal can improve the fairness of the game and the overall QoE of the game.
